A fleet relationship, not a single purchase
Anthony and Jane Goetsch brought MFG into KBH Earthmoving in 2022. The working fleet was already substantial, and the business was looking ahead to further civil work. MFG got to know the owners, the assets and the accounts behind them. Since then the relationship has supported more than 66 purchases.
When machinery comes up, KBH needs to know what it can do without starting the entire conversation again. That familiarity is built between transactions, through discussions about the business, its accounts and the work coming into the yard.
Work through the numbers before the next division
The conversations extend beyond equipment quotes. MFG works with KBH and its accountant on financial information, depreciation and the funding implications of expansion. Anthony had been planning a concrete division so the business could better control supply for its own civil projects and potentially serve other local customers.
The concrete plan was a change in capability, not just a batching-plant purchase. The trucks, loader, tanker trailer and water cart each had a job in making the new division work. Seeing the whole set made it possible to assess the investment rather than fund one attractive asset in isolation.

Build the concrete capability piece by piece
That plan led to an approximately $750,000 combined investment: a Thomas Manufacturing mobile batching plant, two agitator trucks, a water cart, CAT 910K wheel loader and concrete tanker trailer. Rather than loading every asset onto one lender, MFG spread the funding across a major bank and specialist non-bank lenders according to the equipment and the available capacity.
Those assets did not all belong with the same lender. The finance was distributed across a major bank and two non-bank lenders, with the particular machinery and the capacity available at each lender informing the placement.
Still thinking about what comes next
The broader fleet includes excavators, graders, tippers, water carts, skid steers, transport combinations and attachments. KBH keeps growing its equipment base while MFG helps assess the next acquisition, the lender exposure and the banking capacity that expansion may need.
From excavators and tippers to a mobile batching plant, the purchases tell a story of a business adding capability over time. The next conversation starts with that history, the existing facilities and where Anthony and Jane want KBH to go next.
